Free or Nearly Free Entertainment Book!

A few weeks ago, Heather @ Freebies4Mom posted about Cashbaq, a site that gives you money back for online purchases, and explained how to get a 2009 Entertainment Book, which is packed with tons of coupons, for free or almost free. The books normally cost between $51 and $25 depending on the area, but I was able to get 3 of the $25 Jackson, MS, books for only $10!! How?

1) I signed up for Cashbaq and received a $5 credit.
2) I clicked on "Buy Now" under "Deal of the Day." The Deal is $10 cash back + $10 off + free shipping.
3) I put in my zip code to find the book for a location near me.
4) After viewing some of the discounts found in the book, I clicked "Buy the Book."

Here's how the price breaks down:

Original Price: $25
Discount: $10
Cash back: $10
Sign-up Cash back: $5

$25-$10-$10-$5 = $0

I also added two other books to my order, so I paid $5 for each after the $10 discount and the $10 cash back. The $5 sign-up and the $10 cash back for my first book showed up immediately, but it took about a week to two weeks for the $20 for the other two books to show up.

Not familiar with the Entertainment book? It's packed with coupons specifically for certain cities. The Jackson book contains coupons for free admission to the Zoo and the Natural Science Museum, as well as free food or discounts at restaurants like Sal & Mookie's, Bravo!, and various fast food places. My personal favorite are the Kroger coupons! The book more than pays for itself when it's purchased at the regular price. $0-$5 is an AWESOME deal.

Cashbaq sends out a check or pays through PayPal every month as long as you have $10 in your account. If you have less than $10, your money will be held until the next pay period.

(Cashbaq is similar to Ebates, which I've posted about here and here. I signed up for both, and I check both sites before I make an online purchase to see which will give me the best deal.)
